The Pumpkin Bread Project has officially ended...for 2011 anyway. With total orders and Adobe's donation matching, I will be donating a total of $500 to Project Night Night!!! This is obviously much higher than my original estimates so I'd say this was a success! A very rewarding success :)
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this great cause, and to those who asked for more pumpkin bread after they realized how good it is and wanted more!
My goal in doing this was to donate my time and effort to a good cause, which will ultimately benefit the homeless children in San Francisco. A secondary goal, of course, was to share my favorite Fields family recipe with my coworkers so that they, too, could enjoy this delicious, holiday treat. Based on this year's success, I hope to make this an annual tradition so that I can continue to raise money for charity and share the joy of pumpkin bread with my friends and coworkers. This way, everyone will have a happier holiday season!
